Busy Fall for North Cobb Rotary - from Real Crime Center Tour to

North Cobb Rotarians recently sponsored the coffee at the first-ever City Foster Friendly event! Acworth has declared itself Foster Friendly, encouraging the whole city to “lean in” and support Foster Families! The club also hosted and served a luncheon for 200 veterans and their families, with North Cobb Rotarian Brian Moore, PhD as the featured speaker.

The club also toured the Real Time Crime Center operated by the Cobb County Police Department. This is among the most high-tch crime-fighting centers in the country. It gathers information from cameras all over the county and feeds it to police so that they can improve the accuracy and speed of criminal arrests.  Amazing technology!  So proud of how Cobb County works to keep you all safe!
