Learn Your New Role Online
It's a new Rotary year and you may be kicking off a new leadership role for your club. Even if you have an awesome mentor helping you learn the responsibilities that come with the role, remember, just because "it's the way we've always done it" doesn't mean it's the way it should be done. The Learning Center on My.Rotary.org has online courses that cover all of the club leadership roles. Most of the courses take 1-2 hours to complete and can be done at your own pace. These courses are the best way to get the latest information on what is expected from Rotary for each leadership role. They help you learn which aspects of the role you need a little extra help with and which ones you're got down pat. If you have any questions or need help with the Learning Center, contact Mary Ligon, our District Learning Facilitator.
