Grants from the Rotary Foundation have enabled Roswell Rotary Club to take on significant projects this year, including providing warm winter gear for children in Star House. This month we have continued to highlight the incredible impact of the Rotary International Foundation and how, with generous contributions from Rotarians, we can fund meaningful service projects in our community and beyond. Thanks to grant support, Roswell Rotary received the maximum grants this year: a $2,000 community grant and a $5,000 competitive grant.
A big thank you to all the Roswell Rotarians and volunteers who helped pack hats, gloves, socks, and scarves for the children of Star House! Through your hard work and dedication, we provided much-needed winter essentials for 109 boys and 109 girls in three Roswell-area elementary schools. This project was made possible by a generous $2,000 grant we received from the Rotary District’s Community Grant Program. With your efforts, we’re helping these children stay warm and cared for as they head into the colder months. Thank you again to everyone involved for making this project a success and for continuing to serve our community with kindness and compassion!
