North Cobb Partners with Georgia Kids Belong

North Cobb Rotary Club has kicked off a significant service project in partnership with Georgia Kids Belong, under the leadership of Ada Wikina. Georgia Kids Belong is a subsidiary of America's Kids Belong. Their mission is to improve the experiences and outcomes for children in foster care, working to ensure that they find loving families in communities that welcome them. Georgia Kids Belong equips communities to dramatically improve the experiences and outcomes for Georgia's children in foster care.

Our club contributed to this initiative by providing North Cobb Rotary volunteers and gift cards to local foster-friendly businesses in the Acworth, Georgia, area. We also participated in their first Parents' Night Out ensured that foster parents in Acworth enjoyed an evening out while their children enjoyed games, food, and fun.
