Americus Sponsors Pictures with Santa

The Americus Rotary Club continued its annual tradition of providing its community an opportunity to get photos with Santa in the historic Windsor Hotel in downtown Americus. In addition to hosting families for hot chocolate and cookies while they wait to see the jolly one himself, children are treated to gift bags with color crayons and coloring books. Rotary has a photographer on hand to take pictures and parents are welcome to take pictures as well.

The event takes a village and Rotarians were on hand to set-up, greet, entertain children, register families and ensure all goes smoothly. This year’s event saw 91 children come through to visit with Santa and the club is grateful for its members and its community partners. The club is especially grateful to the management of the Windsor Hotel who allows us to host our event and to Steve Miller of Little Brother’s Bistro who is so generous with his restaurant space which accommodates our families until their turn for photos. This is a favorite and most popular community events that seems to grow with each passing year!
