Each month, Buckhead Rotarians share encouragement and camaraderie with veterans at SHARE Pizza Night, part of The Shepherd Center’s comprehensive rehabilitation program for those recovering from traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and mental health challenges like PTSD. 

This month, President Shelley Hammell, long-time SHARE volunteers Blake Beyer (13+ years) and David Bockel, Jr. (7 years), were joined by District Governor Steve Ivory as they spent time with these veterans, enjoying slices of pizza, rounds of trivia and a few good laughs. Their ongoing commitment reflected the spirit of Rotary: fellowship, goodwill, and Service above Self.
