| | 1 | 2 6p Buckhead: Wine Fellowship Join your fellow Oenophiles as we hold our second Buckhead Rotary wine fellowship call on Wednesday December 2nd at 6:00 pm via Zoom. Our theme is Spanish wines. Bring a white (e.g. Albarino, Verdejo) or red (e.g. Priorat, Rioja, Tempranillo) and share it's history, tasting notes and suggested pairing. Don't know anything about Spanish wine, this is the time to learn more! Nick at Highland Fine Wines can assist you in picking a wine that matches both your taste profile and budget. Pair your wine with Manchego, Jamon and Patas Bravas and you are set for a fun evening with your Buckhead Rotarian wine friends. Spouses and significant others are welcome! Please sign up so we can send you the Zoom link. Questions? Contact Shelley Hammell, shammell@thesagealliance.com or 404.680.6186. | 3 | 4 | 5 |

You are invited to participate in a holiday season walking challenge from December 18th- January 1st. Our goal is to complete 10 miles! Since this is a virtual event, you can complete your goal whenever and wherever you would like! You can walk outside or on a treadmill; every step counts over the course of two weeks. You will be using an app on your phones to track your progress. Please don’t forget to encourage friends and family to join as well! Here's how to participate: - Support us by donating $25 through PayPal. Choose "Send money to friends and family” and send to PayRotaryClubAtlWestEnd@gmail.com.
- Don't forget to note your name and ‘Holiday Season Walkathon’ into the note field.
- Download the “Nike Run Club” app and click “join us” to create a profile. (See Vid1)
- Add “Sumeyra Ozturk” as a friend. She will then be able to add you to the “Holiday Season Walk-a-Thon Challenge” that we created on the app. (See Vid1) Once you are added to the challenge, it will appear in your account and then you can click on it to “accept” the challenge. (See Vid2)
- Make sure to click on the “running” tab on the app and “start” it. Only that way will your steps and miles will be counted towards the challenge. (See Vid2)
- Don’t forget to keep track of your progress. You can also check how your friends and families are doing!
- Lastly, be festive! Share your photos that you take during your walk on social media by using the #rotarywestendiswalking hashtag, or send your photos to InfoRotaryAWE@gmail.com so that we can share for you!
