In 2023, the Rotary Club of Dunwoody raised $25,000 for the Georgia Alzheimer's Association and were #2 in their list of The Longest Day giving program. The rest of the money we raised went to the Dunwoody Rotary Charitable Fund to help with the work we do in the community.

Eight Dunwoody Rotarians took part in this week's volunteer training for Anchor Place Respite and are one step closer to providing hands-on support when the program starts providing services in late April/early May at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church in Dunwoody. At the beginning, Anchor Place plans to be open two days a week - Monday and Thursday from 10-2 - and offers a range of activities plus lunch for $55/day.
There are ways we can all help with this organization as it welcomes older adults living with mild-to-moderate memory issues and other cognitive challenges, and gives their caretakers a few hours each week to rest and recharge. For starters, we can spread the word about this resource. In addition, Anchor Place is looking for:

Rotary Means Business District 6900 will hold its monthly networking meeting on April 23, 2024 from 6-8PM at the new Politan Row at Ashford Lane in the Perimeter Center area. This month's sponsor is the Rotary Club of Roswell. Everyone that registers no later than April 22, 2024 (6PM) will get a free beer or wine.

Each year on the National Day of Prayer, the Rotary Club of North Fulton hosts an annual prayer breakfast. With the theme, "Lift up the word, light up the world," this year's event takes place May 2 from 7-9 AM at the Jeffords Fellowship Hall, St. David's Episcopal Church in Roswell. Maggie DeCan, the CEO and Executive Director of the Children's Development Academy in Roswell will be the keynote speaker.
