Monday is a Special Day! Message from the President

March 23rd is an extra special day, and I wanted to invite you to join us for our regularly scheduled meeting at Maggiano’s. In addition to a fabulous speaker, we are celebrating the club’s 75th anniversary. This is a momentous achievement, and I want to encourage you to attend. We are honoring our past presidents for their leadership, and it will be great to witness the legacy they have created. And did I mention there will be cake to celebrate the occasion?!

We will have a memory board at the meeting to capture any members memories. Maybe you remember something funny like when we had mandatory attendance and members would scan their badge, grab lunch and leave. Or perhaps it’s something poignant like one of our fabulous projects that you participated in. We will have the board displayed so all members can read your memory. Pawsitivity Partnership with Buckhead Rotarians Delivering Pet Food with OpenHand

RSVP HERE TO VOLUNTEER! March 21, 10AM-12PM, great opportunity for families and friends to volunteer! 

Looking for a few more volunteers who want to help deliver pet food to families in need. All you need to do is register on the calendar, either as a driver or an assistant (if you prefer to ride with someone). We will be your “match makers” for anyone that comes solo as an assistant and wants to ride with a fellow Rotarian. Bring friends, family members, work colleagues, and even your dog.

We meet at 10:00 am (with coffee and sweet bread) and all you need to do is load up and go! When you are done, you are done. Most routes take 90-minutes, so you have the rest of your day to yourself. However, we will likely organize a meeting place for anyone game to meet up afterward for lunch.

March 27: Easter Egg Hunt Volunteers Needed

Ansley School Egg Hunt and Games at Piedmont Park

March 27, 2026 10:30 am— 2:00 pm

Returning for it’s second year, the Easter Egg Hunt in Piedmont Park for the children at the Boyce Ansley School, a Signature Project of our club. Join us on Friday, March 27. We need volunteers who can help with the egg hunt and games, distributing the lunches, and making sure the kids have a great time. We’ll be hosting about 100 children, and they’ll be joined by the school faculty and staff.

Please be at the park by 10:30 if possible. The first group of children will arrive at 11 am, and the event will end at 2 pm, though some of us will need to stay around to pick up any trash. If you can’t stay for the entire time, come for whatever time you are available. We’ll have lunches for everyone.

In the event of rain, we’ll have the event at the school, and we’ll send out alternate directions. This is a family-friendly event. Please go to the calendar and sign up. And join us for 15 minutes after the March 23rd meeting to help stuff the plastic eggs with candy.
