Apples for Teachers

Distributing polished Apples (purchased & obtained from the Buckhead club's Apple Polishing Event), along with a note of appreciation and a copy of the 4 Way test to local teachers and paraprofessionals, has been a longstanding RNCA tradition.

The RCNA chose four schools to honor this year: Evansdale Elementary, Cary Reynolds Elementary, Hightower Elementary and the Warren Technical schools.

About 10 people were directly involved in the distribution of the apples, although additional Rotarians participated when including the apple polishers.

The Apple Project:

• Rewards and incentivizes our local school teachers; • Provides PR for Rotary and the Four Way Test; • Helps to build a relationship between Rotarians & teachers; • Is a sustainable, annual project
