Kibeam Reading Project

Purchase 400 books for use with Kibeam Wands providing to local schools, childcare, and 501C3 organizations to help team children to read. This is a cross organization effort that required an MOU between the Rotary Club of Alpharetta and the YMCA of Greater Atlanta. Rotarians are providing the teachers and coordinating the distribution of wands at local schools. YMCA is coordinating with the schools to determine the applicable students, assist in distribution of wands during after-school programs, and assisting Fulton County to complete community assessments as part of a global grant which we anticipate receiving greater than $100K which will provide 1000 wands to assist 1000 families. This project is the starting point for a global project of scale. The goal is to transform children's ability to read to learn by 3rd grade.
