Hurricane Relief Project

Provided two truckloads of supplies to victims of Hurricane Helene in multiple cities in North Carolina within weeks of Hurricane Helene striking (last 2024). These supplies were critical to residents of Burnsville to remain in their community and survive. Too many rotarians to count donated goods and supplies to this effort. Residents of Alpharetta also donated goods during pick up at two local churches. Additionally the Rotary Club of Alpharetta donated $5000 to the District Relief Fund and an additional $5500 to Reconciliation House who assist families in Yancey County North Carolina in January 2025. The club provided volunteers to assist in early January to help rebuild homes in North Carolina.
