Serving Veteran's Dinner at local American Legion

The Alpharetta Rotary Club hosted local veterans at American Legion Post 201 and served dinner free of charge for any and all veterans who showed up that evening. These dinners and happy hours were conducted on Veteran's Day 2024 and during the American Legion general membership meeting on March 18, 2025. The purpose was to thank your veterans for their sacrifices and build camaraderie between the two organizations for potential future joint service opportunities. Approximately 75 people attended and were served. Rotarians brought or cooked food including our world class barbecue cooked by former president Mickey RogersThis served as an opportunity for a longer-term relationship between these two organizations to combine their resources and expand reach in common areas such as veteran assistance, community events, and promoting the ideals of America.
