Rotary & American Legion Renovation Project

Rotary Club of Alpharetta raised funding via the Concerts Under the Stars providing a $73,000 grant to the American Legion to help renovate their outdated facilities allowing the Legion to market the space to the community. Couch Construction Group (owned by Alpharetta Rotarian) conducted the renovation and coordinated with vendors for donated lights, flooring, paint, and other needed materials. This initiative directly benefits local veterans and has allowed the American Legion to market their space for broader purposes in turn raising additional funds for the Legion to serve additional veterans. The American Legion has coordinated with a food vendor to provide meals and is using their own funding to further enhance the space. This space provides a lower cost alternative for weddings, celebrations, corporate events, and additional veterans events. A group of local Marine Corps Veterans are planning the United States Marine Corps 25oth Birthday Celebration at this event.
