July 23, 2018: Connie Sutherland Gone with the Wind Museum
Connie Sutherland has been the director of the Marietta Gone With the Wind Museum for 14 of its 15 years in Marietta. As a volunteer to save the Margaret Mitchell House in midtown during the early 90’s, she accepted a job as Group Sales Manager and began working in the unique world of Gone With the Wind.
Considered an expert on the subject, she has appeared in documentaries for Warner Bros. and PBS, as well as spokesperson for Margaret Mitchell on the GA Women of Achievement site. Her lectures on the author, the book and the movie, provide a look into Gone With the Wind rarely known to the public. Connie and her husband Bob live in Dallas and enjoy traveling.
