The Rotary Club of Peachtree City & Rotary Community Corps Team Up to Serve

In August, the Rotary Club of Peachtree City partnered with the Rotary Community Corps of Peachtree City and Midwest Food Bank to send 2700 cans of food to those in need in Georgia. The Midwest Food Bank, which is directed by Rotarian Will Garner, serves over 300 non-profit service organizations covering 49 different counties in Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky and Alabama. Rotary Community Corps (RCC) are teams of men and women who work in partnership with Rotary Clubs worldwide to improve their communities.

The Peachtree City RCC is unique. It is one of only two RCC’s in the country that is comprised of adults with developmental disabilities. It’s members are passionate about serving the community and giving those in need. Rotarian Joel Norris worked to establish the RCC in 2015 and continues to help guide this extraordinary group.

Over 60 Rotarians, RCC members, friends, and family worked together for a great evening of service and fellowship.
