PDG Al and Carol Lipphardt at Stone Mountain Elementary School
Since 2007, The Dictionary Project has been a major annual
volunteer activity for the members of the
Rotary Club of Stone Mountain. Each
year, the club has provided free dictionaries to third grade students in local
public schools. This year the club distributed over 2,000 dictionaries to 11
schools in Dekalb County and some newly-immigrated families in the Clarkston
refugee community, Thanks to all the RCSM members who volunteered their time to
deliver dictionaries and especially to
Gene and Mary Fleeman who
helped coordinate the whole project!
