Join North Cobb for Smoke on the Lake BBQ Festival

May 10 and 11 - Cauble Park, Acworth, GA

This year marks the 10th Annual Smoke on the Lake BBQ Festival - the largest fundraiser for the Rotary Club of North Cobb. The event is in its tenth year offering lots of cash and prizes for the BBQ competition, the Lord of the Wings taster on Friday and the People’s Choice BBQ taster on Saturday sponsored by Bay Equity Home Loans. Over 8,000 people are expected to visit!

DG Court has designated this event as a District 6900 Family of Rotary event. Here are some key details!

When:

  • Friday, May 10 from 5:00 pm to 10 pm (Lord of the Wings Taster on Friday 6:00 p.m.) ... On Friday you can also picnic under the stars and enjoy an 8:00 pm concert by the best Eagles & Alabama Tribute Band, Georgia Players Guild. Admission is free on Friday night and tables of six can be purchased for $100, priceincludes your table and six chairs for the whole crew.
  • Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm ... Taster’s Choice BBQ sponsored by Bay Equity Home Loans starts at noon

Admission: FREE Admission and FREE Parking - FREE overflow parking and shuttle service from downtown Acworth.

Other Attractions:

  • Kid’s Zone: Northwest YMCA Kid’s Zone will feature interactive inflatables for kids of all ages. Slide down a giant 24-foot inflatable slide, jump on a huge obstacle course, shoot hoops in the bouncy basketball jumpy and others.
  • Dry County Beer Garden: Visit the Dry County Beer and Wine Bar as adult beverages will be available for the concert Friday night and Saturday during the BBQ competition.
