2020 Vision will allow all Rotarians to see that our common, mutual consideration as Rotarians is the clear “VISION” for all Rotarians to be intentionally Relational, Opportunity oriented, ‘vibrantly’ Transformational(!), Affirmational (being affiliated with the best and largest civic organization on our globe translates into an admirable, affirmational, association!), and in 2020, Responsible: being a member of Rotary International is not for everyone.

Yes, the responsibility of being a Rotarian is a serious matter. While the affiliation with such an historic service-centered group is highly rewarding and is a sure and certain doorway to good fellowship, meaningful altruistic projects, goodwill, and promotion of ethical business practices, not everyone has the wherewithal to embrace the VISION and the responsibility to generate and maintain a sustainable impact on the people around them. Catch the 2020 VISION that Rotarians are a rare breed indeed of ebullient, engaged, expressive, enthusiastic, empowered people who join together to change the world…locally, nationally, and globally…the question is, do you have what it takes? Do you commend your Rotary Family Vision to those around you so they too can have 2020 VISION in 2020 of making the world a better place? And lastly, 2020 VISION sees the Yield (as in “gaining from an investment”) of Rotary Club membership: All Rotarians continually receive a profit from their investment in their local Clubs and Rotary International by embracing the ideal of “Service Above Self”. The rewards are endearing, enduring friendships, professional-vocational camaraderie, personal fulfillment from benevolent service, and deep gratification in strengthening the fabric of humanity with threads of compassionate care, sacrificial giving, goodwill, and understanding.

Simply put, re-gain 2020 VISION in 2020, with “acuity and clarity become a Rotary rarity”… be a VISIONARY. Be a ROTARY VISIONARY. Be a VIBRANT ROTARY VISIONARY in 2020. 2020 VISION sees you being your Rotary best, giving your Rotary best, and doing your Rotary best! Happy New Year!
