The Rotary Citation is awarded by the International Rotary
President to recognize the hard work clubs do throughout the year. Working to
achieve the citation goals helps clubs engage their members, stay relevant in
their communities, and run more efficiently. A welcoming and engaging club not
only fosters a positive experience for its members, but also reflects the
values of Rotary. When clubs achieve citation goals, they contribute to the
overall health and culture of Rotary for generations to come.
The Rotary Citation is based on the citation goals one sets in Rotary Club Central. A little over a year ago, Zones 33 and
34 paired together to launch an innovative Membership Action Plan (MAP). The
Plan was focused on helping clubs and districts learn proven ways to grow,
provide better experiences for members and increase their impact. It also set
up an awards program which would reward clubs and districts that participated
and grew.
During 2022-23, monthly MAP
webinars were held for club members, and gave them new tools such as the
innovative Membership Success Center which gives a membership tracking and
growth tools at your fingertips.
The following clubs from District 6900 are recognized for participating
to a significant level in MAP and grew membership:
Congratulations to all the above clubs
for their hard work for earning these awards.
