The Rotary Club of Peachtree City was thrilled to partner with the Southern Conservation Trust to build a bridge over a floodplain area, making our local nature areas even more accessible to allow more people to experience the beauty and tranquility of these conserved lands year-round! Southern Conservation Trust manages over 55,000 acres of conserved land, including 5 public nature areas in Fayette County, GA, and the Fayette Environmental Education Center. Their mission is to protect land AND ensure everyone has access to enjoy it. This project aligns with Rotary's commitment to protecting the environment, one of our seven areas of focus. Together, we’re building more than just a bridge—we’re connecting our community to the beauty of nature. A huge thank you to District Governor Gordon and his wife Ashley, along with PTC Rotarian and District Governor-elect Steve and his wife Anna, for joining us on this incredible project! Let’s protect and enjoy our environment!
