FAMILY OF ROTARY

Our membership cares deeply about the needs and concerns of our members. We don’t want to miss an opportunity to reach out in friendship when such concerns arise. The chairperson of this committee is Lynn Dunn and all news should be directed to her at lynn.dunn@rmcpa.com

President's Message
Congratulations!

Each and every one of you should be proud of the hard work we put into serving our community and that Roswell Rotary continues to lead the way in our District. We won Club of The Year for 2019-20 and Club of the Decade for 2010-20 at the District Celebration this weekend. We were also recognized for Best International Service Project, Vocational Service Project (runner up), Overall Service Project, Senior Service Project (runner up), Club Administration, Public Image (runner up), Fundraiser (runner up) and membership (runner up). It was a great way to end a crazy year.

Bob Hagan Awarded
RI Service Above Self Award

In the Rotary world it is certainly hard to get one over on Bob Hagan. On Saturday at the District Celebration, District Governor Jim Squire totally surprised Bob with the Rotary International Service Above Self award. It is certainly a well-deserved recognition. Congratulations Bob!

Roswell Rotarians Of The Year
Matt Millard & Mike Nielsen

Congratulations to Matt Millard and Mike Nielsen for being awarded Roswell Rotarians of the Year. For years they both have been quietly working behind the scenes on various projects for our club and this year they have put countless hours into our Rotary Learning Lab for HomeStretch. Matt got all the plans through the city not once, but twice as we had to move the location at the last minute and Mike has leveraged his industry connections to turn our $10,000 grant from the District into a $100,000+ project. Be sure to congratulate both when you see them next and thank them for their hard work in making this project happen. (photo credit goes to John Carruth)

One Last Lunch At Lucky's

Rain or shine, Lucky's will open up the Dog House for our group and the club is buying the burgers. If you aren't comfortable being with others just yet, order a meal for take out instead. We look forward to seeing you there!

Service Opportunity
Flags Across Roswell

In celebration of July 4th, we will have flags available for our members to share with veterans, neighbors, and friends. Flags will be distributed at our June 25th meeting. This is a great project for your children and family to participate in. Grab a handful of flags to take home and let's spread some pride in our country this July 4th!

Rotary Last Week

Between real life service projects, real life meetings and the District Celebration in Columbus it almost feels like Rotary is back to "normal!"
