Update on Personal Masks

Last week President Cathie announced that we had 50 masks with Rotary logos for sale - purchased from Metro Atlanta Rotarian Tracey Carothers' business in Dunwoody Village - Big Frog. Masks sold out immediately!

We are considering a new order but that will be based on your interest! Please let me know if you would like to order masks - and how many you might like. If we have enough interest, we will order again ... and may consider a slightly different design. Cost is $10 per mask, or three for $25.

As we look at moving from Zoom to face-to-face meetings any time in the near future, masks are likely to be part of the protocol. Medical experts expressed concern in their testimony before Congress about high transmission from asymptomatic people. The masks are one tool we can employ to cut down transmission, along with hand washing and social distancing. I see the use of masks being prudent for at least several months. Although these types of masks do not protect the wearer, if you attend a meeting and everyone wears a mask, we are all protected.

Let me know if you're interested in purchasing masks with a Rotary logo.
