"Renee Areng is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in destination marketing and management. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Explore Brookhaven, which provides professional tourism leadership and expertise for the city of Brookhaven. Explore Brookhaven’s mission is to enhance the image, perception and success for tourism activities and economic opportunity in the city of Brookhaven. Prior to Explore Brookhaven, Renee served as the Executive Director for Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast which won state and regional awards under her leadership. Renee earned a BA in Public Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is also a certified destination management executive."
