Training/Service Opportunity
Become a CPR & AED Instructor

The Rotary Club of North Fulton is pleased to announce three upcoming opportunities for Rotarians to become certified CPR and AED instructors.

We’ve created a simple program to get you trained and certified—and, just as importantly, to support you as you begin teaching CPR classes in your community. We can help you set up classes and connect with local first responders to make this critical initiative a success.

Step 1: Sign Up for a Training Date

Choose one of the following dates:

  • September 26
  • October 24
  • November 14

The instructor training runs from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., but you are required to attend the basic CPR certification class from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. that same morning.

After completing the four-hour certification process, you’ll have two options:

  1. Co-teach one of our existing CPR classes, gaining hands-on experience with support from our team; or
  2. Schedule a CPR class in your own community, with one of our instructor trainers attending to help you get comfortable and make sure you have the support you need.

Your Training Is Covered!

Thanks to Wellstar, the fees for your training and certification are covered.

In return, we simply ask that you commit to teaching two CPR classes over the next year.

Our guess? Once you get started, you’ll want to teach many more!

And don’t worry if you’ve never taken a CPR class before. We will train you, certify you, and provide ongoing support. You will not be doing this alone.

With cardiac problems remaining the #1 cause of death in our country, this is an incredible opportunity to learn a lifesaving skill and help bring that knowledge to your family, friends, coworkers and community.
