FAMILY OF ROTARY

Our membership cares deeply about the needs and concerns of our members. We don’t want to miss an opportunity to reach out in friendship when such concerns arise. The chairperson of this committee is Lynn Dunn and all news should be directed to her at lynn.dunn@rmcpa.com

President's Message
A Garden of Hope

In the spring I planted a small garden, a garden of hope. Imagine my excitement to pick the first juicy red tomato.

This past Saturday, Dave McCleary hosted an international Rotary Action Group Against Slavery panel. All continents were represented. How promising to see both Interactors and Rotaractors speak of their involvement. They are the future of ending human slavery. They are the future of Rotary. They are our hope.

As Rotarians, may we continue our journey to plant seeds of hope, goodwill, and peace across the world.

“It is only the farmer who faithfully plants seeds in the Spring, who reaps a harvest in the Autumn.” B. C. Forbes

This Week's Speaker
Unsolved Cases

Jesse Evans is Chief Assistant District Attorney for Cobb County. He has been the major crimes/homicide prosecutor since 2006. He was named deputy chief to the chief assistant district attorney in 2016. He has been recognized for successfully prosecuting a number of cold cases, recently including the 1991 murder of Cathy Glass. In June, Jesse gave opening statements in the probable cause hearing for the three men charged in Ahmaud Arbery’s killing. Raised in Cobb, Jesse is one of 80 community leaders selected to participate in Leadership Atlanta’s Class of 2021 Program.
