Atlanta Virtual Fundraising Brings in Over $130,000 for Honduras Schools

The Honduras Hope annual fundraising event and silent auction of the Rotary Club of Atlanta was held on the evening of September 15. The event was virtual for the first time this year and raised over $130,000 to support the schools Rotarians have helped build in the rural Agalta Valley. The annual trip organized by Atlanta Rotary is the largest annual Rotary trip in the world, averaging 60 travelers.

The next trip is March 6. The group established the HAVE Foundation (Honduras Agalta Valley Education) to pay for the schools.
