Clubs Recognize Excellence

The Rotary Club of Peachtree City gave a shout out to its Rotaract Club – “way to grow!” Here we grow again!!! Rotaract reported, “We inducted two new members tonight – Emily & Ryan Peurifoy. Emily and Ryan have a heart for service and have already participated in our most recent project with RCC, Rotary and Interact to support United Way Project Shoebox. We were also excited to have four of our PTC Rotary Board members (and five if you count our Rotaract President and Rotary Community Service Director, Azell) to talk to us about Rotary, why they joined and why they stay. We also had two prospective members in attendance tonight – James and Kaylee. Looking forward to seeing them again at our next event!”

At Marietta Metro, talk centers around Rotarian KIM GRESH, who was named the 2020 Association of Fundraising Professionals Volunteer Philanthropist of the Year! Because of her leadership skills, many organizations have flourished and fundraising goals have been achieved and exceeded. Her interests have included healthcare, the arts, scouting, civic organizations and many others. She has not only dedicated her time and expertise, she has also been very generous financially. Our community owes a great debt of gratitude to Kim and we are very proud that she is a member of the Rotary Club of Marietta Metro. Congratulations to Kim and a huge, huge THANK YOU!!!!

And finally, DG Kirk was on hand at the Rotary Club of Albany to present a plaque to Mrs. David Blitch, honoring her late husband for 45+ years of perfect attendance and service to Rotary and the community.
