Club induction, fellowship and an international exchange highlighted the August 27 meeting

On August 27, the Rotary Club of Atlanta Brasil held a club meeting that combined membership celebration and international fellowship.
A special highlight was the induction of Fernanda Mantovanini as the club’s newest member. Assistant Governor Jared Evans joined the meeting and officially inducted Fernanda into Rotary, marking an important moment in the club’s ongoing membership growth.
The evening was further enriched by a visit from fellow Rotarians representing the Rotary Club of Tacna Heroica, Peru. Through fellowship, the exchange of stories, a club banner, and Rotary pins, members reinforced the idea that Rotary friendship transcends borders and opens opportunities for collaboration and lasting connections.
Following the meeting, AG Jared Evans shared encouraging remarks with District Governor Cynthia Edwards, noting the club’s hospitality, membership trajectory, recent service projects, and presentation of Rotary’s Areas of Focus.
For the Rotary Club of Atlanta Brasil, the evening reflected what Rotary is all about:
We are excited to welcome Fernanda into our Rotary family and grateful to AG Jared Evans and our visiting Rotarians from Peru for making this celebration memorable.
Together, we are growing Rotary, connecting cultures, and creating lasting impact—from Atlanta to Peru and beyond.
