July 31, 2017 Cassie Mazloom - Director, Cobb Emergency Management Agency


Cassie Mazloom was appointed Director of the Cobb Emergency Management Agency by the Board of Commissioners in April 2017. Mazloom served as EMA's Deputy Director since October 2012. She began her 16-year career with Cobb County as a uniformed police officer and through the years served as a detective in the Domestic Violence and Stalking Unit and Public Information Officer.

Mazloom holds Bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology from The University of Georgia. She is also a 2015 graduate of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce Honorary Commanders Program and a 2017 graduate of Cobb Chamber of Commerce Leadership Cobb Program.
