The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs recently honored the 2017 Recipients of its Dan Keels Scholarship Awards. Each of the four 2017 winners will receive $2,000 tuition scholarship. Those winners include:

• Rebecca Nicole Langfelder, Riverwood International Charter School, Class of 2017, entering the University of Georgia;
• Arion J. Perkins, North Springs Charter High School, Class of 2017, entering Kennesaw State University
• Gianna Isabella Scerbo, North Springs Charter High School, Class of 2017, entering University of Georgia
• Kaylyn Hanna Winters, Mt. Vernon Presbyterian School, Class of 2017, entering Savannah College of Art and Design

The scholarships are awarded each year in honor of the late Dan Keels who, as a member of the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs and Chaplain of Northside Hospital, gave extensively to his community throughout his lifetime and inspired people through his lifetime of community service.
