In Support of Peace ... What Two Clubs Are Doing


The Rotary Club of Americus was honored to partner with the Mattie J.T. Stepanek Foundation for the Inaugural Peace Day event held October 3rd in downtown Americus. By hosting the "Cake and Conversation" booth, we provided individuals the opportunity to chat with area leaders about working together to make our community a more peaceful one. We focus on creating communities and convening groups that are connected, inclusive, and resilient.

And in Johns Creek, the Johns Creek North Fulton Rotary Club participated in the installation of a permanent Peace Pole at Emory Winship Cancer Institute.
