Together We Fight Hunger


North Cobb Rotary has joined with the Northwest Cobb Family YMCA to fight hunger! President Joe Stockman, together with Rotarians Sharon Pell, Nancy Prochaska, Christine Coffman, Trina Griffiths, Jennifer Wires, and Friends of Rotary Jacki and The KSU Owls Women's Lacrosse Team joined together in service. HUGE shout out to KSU, Go Owls! Since Mid-March, The Y has served 300,00 meals to families in need through their COVID-19 hunger relief programs. The YMCA is so much more than a gym.

Last Saturday, nine Dunwoody Rotarians and their Rotary Youth Exchange alumnus Daniella spent Saturday morning at the CAC food pantry, processing food donations and helping them get ready for their Monday "market." Dunwoody has also donated money to buy turkeys for Kingsley Elementary harvest baskets - and is driving to collect 160 boxes of oatmeal for those baskets.

The Rotary Club of Marietta is off to a great start doing its part to help as "SMART STUFFERS." Rotarians will fill and donate Thanksgiving Meal boxes to the Center for Family Resources between now and mid-November. The Rotary Club of Douglas County has a similar drive underway.
