Vinings and Dunwoody Support Special Olympics

Vinings Cumberland Rotarian Boothe Perry recently helped the club raise money by repelling down the Overlook lll office tower on Mt Wilkinson in Vinings. The money raised from this event helped provide funding for special needs athletes to assist them in practicing for and attending Special Olympics events.

The Rotary Club of Dunwoody sponsored the medical tent for the recent Special Olympics Summer Games, and Past President Kathy Brandt was on hand to volunteer and help give out the well-deserved award medals. "It was truly inspiring to see athletes, families and volunteers so totally engaged in the activities. So easy to see the life-long benefits enjoyed by athletes."
